Aston Villa fans have been calling for the club to sign Fernando Llorente in this transfer window.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @astonforza shared a post on their page asking their followers if they would like to see the striker come to Villa Park this month.

This post then gathered numerous replies from Villa fans who claimed they would like the club to sign the Spaniard in the January transfer window.
Indeed, Napoli boss Genaro Gattuso has reportedly made it clear to Fernando Llorente that he not a part of his plans.

The former Swansea and Tottenham striker currently plays for Italian side Napoli after leaving the North-London club on a free transfer earlier this year (per TransferMarkt). He’s managed to produce four goals in 22 appearances so far this season, which isn’t too impressive.
Now that the suggestion has been made of Llorente making a move to Villa has emerged, these Villa fans think the club should snap up the 34-year-old.

What do we think?
With 579 total club appearances for the Spaniard, Llorente would certainly bring a lot of experience to the attack at Villa Park. With 101 of those appearances coming in England between Swansea and Tottenham, the striker also has bags of Premier League experience under his belt (per TransferMarkt), but his current record may be a worry.
If he were to return to England, he would have a big job laid out for him at Villa who have their first-choice striker Wesley out for the rest of the season and currently sit in the relegation zone.
