Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest transfer update surrounding Nottingham Forest’s interest in Jonathan Kodjia.
This comes after football journalist Phil McNulty shared a post on his official page claiming that Nottingham Forest are “among a number of clubs showing interest” in Kodjia.
Should Villa sell or keep Jonathan Kodjia this month?
Sell him
Keep him
McNulty also revealed that the striker missed Villa’s 1-1 draw against Leicester on Wednesday “through illness”.
This post then led to a number of Villa fans replying with their thoughts on this latest update.
Here is a sample of Villa fans reacting to Kodjia’s potential move away from Villa Park:
I will drive him there if he needs a lift.

Sooner he goes the better even with no striker

I’ll go full the car up. Willing to take him wherever he wants to go. #avfc

Kodjia is currently Villa’s only fit striking option, with Wesley and Keinan Davis out injured. So far this season, Kodjia has made just 10 appearances for Villa in all competitions.
In those appearances, the 30-year-old has scored just two goals and picked up one assist along the way (per TransferMarkt).
With this latest transfer update claiming other clubs are interested in taking Kodjia away from Villa Park, it has made a lot of Villa fans excited to see the back of him.
I love the guy but if we can get any money for him, it’s a minor miracle

Please let this be the last we see of Kodjia ??

I don’t care if we don’t have cover I’d rather have a kid that tries his heart out than that waste of space

What do we think?
Given such a positive reaction from the Villa fans to the idea of Kodjia leaving the club this month, that proves how much he is disliked and would not be missed.
Although, you can’t help but feel that Wesley could struggle with even less support.
