Aston Villa fans have flocked over to Twitter to respond to the latest transfer update surrounding Henri Lansbury’s potential Villa Park exit.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally shared by John Percy in The Telegraph that the club are “open to offers” for the midfielder.
Should Henri Lansbury leave Villa this month?
Yes

This post then led to a lot of Villa fans replying to the post with their thoughts on Lansbury and his potential exit from the Birmingham club.

Poor signing not his fault truth is just not good enough ( we have made many poor signings for each McGinn and Mings we sign 10-14 Lansburys , McCormacks

The Englishman has been surplus to requirements at Villa this season, after making just nine out of a possible 22 Premier League appearances so far this campaign (per Transfermarkt). Now with this latest update putting a question mark over Lansbury’s future at the club, a lot of Villa fans have been discussing his time at Villa Park.
It just hasn’t worked with Lansbury I’m afraid, he’s very talented but we can’t continue to carry people. #AVFC

Has been found out at this level unfortunately. Good technical player, but when he has played, the game seems to pass him by.

Sensible. Hasn’t played well in a prem game this season. Shame really as he has decent qualities just don’t think he’s good enough

What do we think?
The sporadic appearances that Lansbury has made for Villa this season, as well as the negative fan reaction towards him, goes to show how much they want to see the midfielder out the door. It’s a shame the fans feel this way but above all else, they will put the benefit of the club over any player.
