Aston Villa fans have been responding to the latest post shared by midfielder John McGinn on Twitter.

This comes after the Scotsman shared a post on his official Twitter page after watching his side come from 1-0 down to beat Watford 2-1 on Tuesday.

Have Villa missed John McGinn?

The post was captioned with the word “SCENES” in relation to the celebrations made by the Villa fans as the winning goal went in in the 95th minute of the match.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were delighted to see this tweet from McGinn.

Here is a sample of Villa fans reacting to McGinn’s post:

The midfielder is currently sidelined with an ankle injury he suffered back in December. After tweeting his reaction to the dramatic last-minute winning goal in Villa’s midweek win at Villa Park, a lot of fans have been sharing their hopes and well-wishes for McGinn to make a swift return back to action for Dean Smith’s side.

What do we think?

It is great to see McGinn, who is valued at £18 million (as per Transfermarkt), supporting the team while he is out with injury. It’s also great to see so many Villa fans sending their positive messages to the midfielder as he works his way back to fitness.

This shows just what an important figure McGinn is to this Villa side and how highly thought of he is by the Villa fans.
