Aston Villa fans have been criticising Kortney Hause after their Carabao Cup second-leg semi-final clash against Leicester City.
This comes after the defender put in a poor display against Brendan Rodgers’ side despite his side winning the match by a scoreline of 2-1.
Was Kortney Hause the worst Villa player on the pitch against Leicester?
Yes
No
Hause’s less than satisfactory performance in the victory caught the attention of several Villa fans who took the time to share their opinions on the defender on Twitter.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans criticising Hause:
#avfc how is it that Hause can’t nod the ball to a villa shirt?! That’s about 6 I’ve seen him head it way off a villa player or straight into touch! ?? 50p head!

I wish John Terry would teach Kourtney Hause to head clearances and pass the ball to a Villa player more often

I don’t think kourtney Hause could find a Villa team mate in training. His passing is terrible!! #avfc #utv

Hause earned himself a match rating of 6.4 according to WhoScored. This recent win was the defender’s 13th appearance for Dean Smith’s side in all competitions.
Despite winning the game, numerous Villa fans still took to Twitter to express their disappointment over the 24-year-old’s display in the match.
Hause letting us down at the mo imo

Come on the Villa boys! We can do this!! = my positive Tweet.
Still don’t rate Hause = my negative Tweet.#AVFC

Nyland outstanding, again. Knife edge football though, sitting back and soaking pressure after a superb goal. Must push forward, and not give the ball away, Hause the main culprit.
Get at em Villa! #avfc— Ken_AVFC.FF ? (@AVFCFansForum) January 28, 2020
What do we think?
The criticism on Hause, who is valued at £2.25 million (Transfermarkt), seems a bit harsh considering he has helped his team get to a cup final. But it seems that no one is safe from criticism at Villa Park. These Villa fans will now be hoping that Hause can improve his game as the club aim to avoid relegation in the Premier League and win the Carabao Cup.
