Aston Villa fans have been sharing their thoughts on Twitter over the latest update on Scott Hogan.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @Total_Villa shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by football journalist Alan Nixon.
The post revealed that Stoke City, the club the striker has been on loan at this year, are now “looking for a club to “sub-contract” Scott Hogan to as Aston Villa won’t recall him and Stoke don’t want to pay for his season-long loan.”
Should Villa recall Scott Hogan this month?
Yes
No
This post then led to a number of Villa fans responding with their thoughts on Hogan.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the latest update on Hogan:
Bruce destroyed him

The 27-year-old joined the Championship side in the last summer transfer window after spending the last half of the previous season on a loan deal at Sheffield United (per Transfermarkt). This season, Hogan’s last appearance in the Championship came back in December.
Now that news has emerged that Stoke are looking to offload Hogan to another club, this then caught the attention of several Villa fans.
Shame he did his best for us,

Bring him back and get him up to speed again, there has to be something we can do to get his career back on track.
— Will Chisholm (@Billy_Chisholm) January 26, 2020
Can’t they just send him back to us ??
— ItsReinaSZN (@R_eina_SZN) January 26, 2020
What do we think?
It’s a shame to see that Stoke are reportedly trying to get Hogan, who is valued at £2.7 million (as per Transfermarkt), out of the club before his season-long loan deal ends. If any other club can come in and take the striker somewhere he can get regular game time, it may just get his season back on track.
