Aston Villa fans have been gushing on Twitter over A GIF of Jack Grealish’s from Villa’s Carabao Cup victory against Leicester City.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @thevillazone shared a post on their page that contained a GIF of Grealish’s flicked assist to Matt Targett’s opening goal in the 2-1 win.
Which part of Villa's first goal was better?
Grealish's assist
Targett's finish
This post then led to a lot of Villa fans replying to the post with their delight over the move from the Villa captain.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans sharing their delight over Grealish’s assist:
The thing about Jack Grealish now is that he’s getting so good he doesn’t even know consciously what he’s doing. Front leg moves out of the way so back leg can stop the ball so the front leg can play it immediately. So good he’s tripping over himself

That’s just some kind of wizardry

The footage shows the 24-year-old neatly flick the ball out from under his feet into the path of the over-lapping Targett who then struck the ball past Kasper Schmeichel in the Leicester net to put the home side one goal up. After this footage was shared on Twitter, a number of Villa fans took the time to share their thoughts on the dazzling move.
Genius. Man don’t want him to leave. He’s become the player we all were hoping for.

He’s a real gem. Love the fact he’s a villa fan and we won’t know what day it is whenever he moves on ?

What do we think?
It’s a great piece of skill from Grealish to set up Targett the way he did. it proves his quality and technical skill on the ball as well as his awareness of who is around him and when the right time to pass is.
