Liverpool fans have been calling on Twitter for Samuel Chukwueze to sign for the club in the January transfer window.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by the Foot Mercato that the club are “considering a move” for the winger and that his current club would accept an offer of £34 million for him.
Do Liverpool need to sign another winger this year?

This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were excited by this potential move.

Yes please may seem controversial but I’d prefer someone like him or bailey to sancho they’ll be much cheaper have more to prove and they’ll be less pressure on them to settle in because they aren’t English and they’ll be cheap also think sancho is abit overrated

The 20-year-old right-winger is currently valued at £27 million according to TransferMarkt. The Nigerian international currently plays for Spanish side Villarreal. In 18 appearances for the club so far this season, Chukwueze has only managed to score three goals and pick up three assists (per TransferMarkt).
What do we think?
If Liverpool do sign Chukwueze this month, he would have to work very hard to replace Mohamed Salah in the right-wing position with the Egyptian scoring 14 goals in 27 appearances this season.
