Phil Hay is reporting that Leeds United are set to sign Chievo Verona’s Elia Caprile – an 18-year-old goalkeeper who could provide competition for Illan Meslier and Kiko Casilla.
Leeds want to add two senior players as well this window, but Caprile looks like he will be the first deal they will complete with a medical scheduled for this weekend.
Caprile is an Italian Under-18s international and has made 13 appearances this season.

Why are Leeds signing him?
Marcelo Bielsa wanted another goalkeeper because of the potential ban for Casilla. If the Spaniard is banned, Meslier will start, and Caprile could be on the bench ahead of the likes of Will Huffer and Kamil Miazek.
It is unclear how much Caprile will cost the Whites, but he is valued at £90k by Transfermarkt.
However, Caprile is young and, considered to be a good prospect for the Whites.
