West Bromwich Albion fans are pointing their fingers at Slaven Bilic for the dropped points against Wigan on Wednesday night.
A Sam Johnstone own goal started what would turn into a night to forget for Bilic and West Brom fans. Charlie Austin equalised just nine minutes after conceding, however, the match was destined for a draw and ended 1-1, a result Wigan would likely celebrate.
Here is what the West Brom fans had to say about Slaven Bilic after the match:
Full-time at the DW Stadium.

First time Bilic got it wrong, Pereira should have started. Never mind, we’re going to have off games.
Still 11 points clear of 3rd

Should never change a winning side

Take the point and move on….— Andy Caulton (@AndyfromNewHamp) December 11, 2019
Worst performance of the season, we were so disjointed, too many changes in one go. I understand why Bili? did it but the gamble didn’t pay off.
All points are valuable and at least we got something out of the game. On to Saturday with a fresh start— JonW1995 (@JonW1995) December 11, 2019
Was Slaven Bilic to blame for the dropped points?
Yes
No
Despite this poor result, West Brom are still in the top two of the Championship, with third place Fulham still 11 points away. However, Leeds United continued their winning ways, beating Hull 2-0, putting the pressure back on Bilic to get a result.
Bilic got it all wrong what a awful awful performance

I disagree kid… Bilic got it wrong tonight always play your best squad to get maximum points out of every game. Diangana could potentially be going back to West Ham, while we’ve got him play him every game without a doubt.. We was terrible tonight.. #wba

What Do We Think?
West Brom has won five out of their last six matches, so there’s no reason for rash decisions or reactions, this was just one off-day and we are sure there will be a couple more over the course of the season. Being 11 points clear means this mistake was hardly costly, however, Slaven Bilic will have to drive home just how disappointing this result was to the players and hopefully, that’ll spark a reaction next time out.
