These West Brom fans have reacted to Dara O’Shea’s post-match comments, after the 20-year-old made his Championship debut against Brentford.
O’Shea is a centre-back from Ireland who has played the vast majority of his career at League Two or Premier League 2 level. The 20-year-old made 33 appearances in total for Exeter City; arguably a very impressive for a player as young as the Irishman.
Here’s what the West Brom fans had to say about Dara O’Shea’s league debut:
Special feeling to make my West Brom league debut, hopefully the start of many more. Another hard earned point at home @WBA pic.twitter.com/nAaR2vDy7R

Will Dara O'Shea make another league appearance this season?
Yes
No
The 20-year-old has played in the defensive-midfield and left-back roles, but is much more comfortable playing as a centre-back, with O’Shea playing in that position 66 times out of 70 matches.
Brilliant debut Dara, looked like you had made 100 career appearances already!!! Here’s to many more pal

What Do We Think?
It’ll be interesting to see how many more league appearances O’Shea will make – that’s if he gets any more at all. However, the 20-year-old was clearly highly-rated by Exeter City, with the League Two side playing him 27 times in the league.
Slaven Bilic’s side is flying high at the top of the Championship, but with the gap to Leeds United just three points, West Brom can’t afford to take too many risks when starting the youngsters, therefore they may only resort to using him sparingly until they are in a position to do so.
