Phil Parkinson and his Sunderland team dropped more points this week as his side tied 0-0 at against Bolton at home. Levelling the performance of a team who currently sit at the bottom of the EFL League One is symbolic of just how poor the Black Cats have been in recent months. Even if Bolton were to receive the 12 points they were deducted at the beginning of the season, they would still be 10 points behind Sunderland (Sky Sports). There were no excuses for the draw.
After the match, Speak Sunderland asked fans if they would be renewing their season tickets next season. Many supporters were adamant that they wouldn’t be renewing next season if these results continued. They don’t find any enjoyment in going anymore.
Only sheep would.

I genuinely believe that we will loose 10,000 season ticket holders

Cancelling our season tickets. My football mad son doesn’t want to go anymore. This is what they’re doing, another generation could be lost

I had contemplated taking my little boy to the rest of the home games however I now won’t be setting foot inside the sol until Parkinson is gone.

I’ve had season tickets through the McCarthy and Wilko eras’s and that’s hands down the worst Sunderland team I’ve seen in my lifetime. #safc

At this point I’d rather spend me money elsewhere rather than drive to Sunderland and watch us play, feels like a chore going more than anything else.
Shame me season ticket is practically paid off now.

Will you be renewing your season tickets next year?
Yes
No
Roker Report were saddened to see that people weren’t renewing. They blame Donald Stewart.
I agree. Neither myself my lad or my old man are renewing next year. No enjoyment it is pointless

What do we think?
It would be a shame if Sunderland’s fanbase were to stop following their team because of the club’s mismanagement. It appears that many fans are growing sick and tired of the poor performances. Next year, the Stadium of Light could be a lot quieter than it is now.
