After losing to their rivals in the Scottish League Cup Final, Rangers were looking for redemption in the league. A win for the Gers would give them the slight edge in the league, putting them within two points and a game in hand. But a win was never going to be easy playing at Parkhead.
Luckily for Rangers, Ryan Kent broke the deadlock in the 36th minute after Borna Barisic picked him out from the left side of the field. They then went on to win the game 2-1. Rangers’ Twitter account posted footage of the first goal the next day, which had fans gushing over the Englishman’s finish. There were many supporters who pointed out how good the buildup to the goal was. They aren’t getting carried away, but they are happy with their current league position.
Cracking pass and a superb finish.

Kents goal is underrated. That build up play was superb and any team would be proud.

Great finish and fantastic build up to that goal, our players have definitely stepped up and are playing like a proper good team, let’s not get carried away though, we’re only half way there but should be flying if we perform like that again consistently keep it up lads

Which Old Firm goal did you enjoy the most?
Other fans loved the celebration more. After scoring the goal the team celebrated in front of the home supporters. They particularly enjoyed Alfredo Morelos’ finger to lips.
Even Kamara the quietest guy in the squad giving it laldy

What do we think?
There is still a long way to go in the league before Rangers can comfortably claim their 55th league title. But a win against Celtic will go a long way in that battle. If Ryan Kent can keep up this form, it will be a huge boost to Steven Gerrard and his side.
