After a string of brilliant results, Rangers dropped points against Aberdeen in the league. Despite it being an away match to the team placed third in the league, fans were fully expecting all three points to keep the pressure on their first-place rivals. But after dropping a two-goal lead to tie the game 2-2, the fans saw their Gers stumble in an extremely tight title race.
There weren’t many players who came out of the game unscathed of criticism. Joe Aribo was one of the players who felt the wrath of fans after a less than convincing performance. They admit that he is young and still needs a lot of work. He didn’t offer them enough during the match.
I thought he was fairly good in the first half, some nice touches, got involved.
2nd half he was non existent

Aribo has been poor most of season!

Mental how little Aribo gave us tonight

Aribo off, please.

Still a young lad. No doubt at all that he’s a huge talent but at the moment he is not delivering for Rangers. So ineffective and far too lightweight.

Does Joe Aribo hide in big games?
Yes
No
The Englishman joined on a free transfer back in the summer.
Some supporters pointed out that his performances in big games have been a concern of theirs for a while now. He hides when the pressure is on. For that reason, they don’t think he should start against Celtic on Sunday.
Hes always poor when the pressure is on. Not do poor when playing the likes of Ross County or Hamilton though.

He’s just not at it, certainly wouldn’t start him on Sunday

What do we think?
It appears that Rangers fans have lost patience with Aribo. Despite being young and full of potential, the fans demand that he starts showing up in big games. If he does start on the weekend, he will have a lot to prove.
