When Rangers qualified to the next round of the UEFA Europa League fans were quick to either praise or critique eacg0 player’s performance. A couple of players disappointed the fans, while others impressed the supporters greatly. By the time the final whistle blew there were plenty of talking points.
But one player that was brought into the conversation, without even seeing a minute of game time, was Greg Stewart. The fans questioned why he wasn’t on the field, confused at what he had to do in order to earn Steven Gerrard’s trust.
I fell sorry for Greg Stewart

Who you you rather see play?
Ojo
Stewart
Some fans were even more surprised that a player such as Sheyi Ojo was playing ahead of him. The substitutions made were questionable in their eyes. But one supporter suggests that with the team fatiguing, Stewart could see game time in the next few weeks.
Greg Stewart must wonder what he needs to do when Ojo is constantly ahead of him

Still baffles me the last few games in the last 15/20 mins when the boys are lacking a bit of fitness and imagination that Greg Stewart is just warming the bench.

He’s so poor and getting worse. Greg Stewart must be going home and banging his head off a wall. They looked tired last 30, just falling back deeper and deeper. Need to kill games off early when on top. Excellent 1st half.

I’m also getting a bit concerned with the subs we use! Why throw ojo on! Put Greg Stewart on and shore it up! Still think we need proper defensive mid and proper competition for Tav!

Would like to see if greg stewart would get some game time coming up?
If the squad has tiredness creeping in then guys like him should be given a chance— Floyd8 (@Floyd8_) December 13, 2019
What do we think?
If Stewart does play, he will need to put in a solid shift. Not necessarily to impress fans, but to impress the manager who clearly still doesn’t trust him.
