These Nottingham Forest fans are left feeling disappointed with the club and Ben Watson, after the generic post-game comments.
The Watson quote used in the tweet was: “We will put it right. I have full belief in the squad and everyone involved; we are on a little drought and if you look through the league, everyone is beating everyone.”
As inspiring as the quote sounds, many of the Nottingham Forest fans were left unimpressed by Watson and the club for posting a very obvious message.
Here’s what the fans had to say about his comments:
“We will put it right. I have full belief in the squad and everyone involved and we have to look forward to the Huddersfield game now.” #NFFC

You can’t just brush it off and say concentrate on the next game, you have to analyse it and learn from the mistakes or you’re doomed to repeat them. Disrespectful to 28000 fans. #NFFC

No excuses ends with players, with crowds that we get week in week out we deserve better, I’m not that fussed about winning every game I’m more impressed with performance and being entertained neither of which we seem to get now, very negative very disappointing

Have said for years we always draw to many and lose to teams we should beat (lower struggling ones) and need a consistent goal scorer or 2 then maybe we will win promotion play offs are a hard route

Lol, we will see, same every year, look at the stats, get close to the top, and that’s it, doing a Leeds now

Were you disappointed in Ben Watson's comments?
Yes
No
Watson has been an important player for Forest this season, playing a total of 1850 minutes across 21 matches, however it seems some of the City Ground faithful are disappointed with his (and the club’s) attitude presently.
Dig in then.

Would be interesting to know what been happening in background for such a poor attitude. Please enlighten us.

What Do We Think?
Clearly this wasn’t the type of message that would get the Nottingham Forest fans on side. It would probably have been better to say nothing and just do their talking on the pitch the next time they take to the field. Watson didn’t appear to get too much stick from the fans, but perhaps it’s because he’s been so prominent in the squad this season.
