Liverpool fans have been singing the praises of sporting director Michael Edwards for the club’s recent transfers.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page calling Edwards an “absolute genius” for his work in the club’s transfer activity.
This post then led to many Liverpool fans replying with the same sentiments on Edwards.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans showing their appreciation for Edwards:
This man deserves the best things in life. Absolute genius

This comes after it was reported that Liverpool are likely to sign Takumi Minamino in the upcoming January transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg. And, it now looks as if the Reds will sign him.
Will Takumi Minamino be a good signing for Liverpool?
Yes
No
The post also gave an example of some of the club’s recent good transfer business moves, such as selling Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth for £19 million. This then made some Liverpool fans tweet their approval of Edwards.

Sold Ryan Kent for almost the same price. And, Hull City paid more for Kevin Stewart than what we seemingly will pay Salzburg for Minamino. Also, we sold Ibe for £15 million.

What do we think?
Liverpool have made some fantastic signings over the last few years, with players such as Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson being more valuable now than when they were originally bought by the club. If the deal for Minamino does go through in January for a cut-price fee, he would surely be added to the list of successful transfers the club has made under Edwards.
