Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to praise their former midfielder Philippe Coutinho for his recent Champions League performance.
This comes after the Brazilian scored for his current club Bayern Munich against Tottenham on Wednesday with a fantastic goal.
Coutinho’s performance in the match then led to some Liverpool fans tweeting their opinions on the former Anfield star.
Would you take Philippe Coutinho back at Liverpool?
Yes

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans gushing over Coutinho:
There is no one better than #coutinho in world football at the no 10 position. The way he glide past defenders with the drop of shoulder is joy to watch. Such beautiful flair player! How we didnt even get him on loan is beyond me! #lfc #WORLDCLASS

The 27-year-old, who is currently valued at £81 million according to TransferMarkt, scored Bayern’s third goal in their 3-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s Spurs. His goal came from a low curled effort from the edge of the area in the second half.
Coutinho’s goal caught the attention of some Liverpool fans who were quick to praise the Brazilian, while some claimed they want to see the player return to Anfield.
Regardless of the circumstances he left Liverpool, you have to admit Coutinho is a quality footballer.

Coutinho makes it 3-1 #BAYTOT
I think he scored that goal to alert @LFC of his availability and his quality. I think he still got it.— Duby (@DubyDonald) December 11, 2019
Is it bad that I still want Coutinho back at Liverpool?

What do we think?
It’s nice to see some Liverpool fans still praising Coutinho despite him not being one of their players anymore. As for a potential return to Anfield, it seems as though the club has moved on from Coutinho and aren’t exactly missing his attacking prowess at the club.
