Liverpool fans on Twitter have been singing the praises of Naby Keita for his display against Red Bull Salzburg in midweek.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @TheRedDebate shared a post on their page of Keita’s match highlights in the 2-0 Champions League victory.
This post then led to many Liverpool fans replying with their opinions on the midfielder’s performance.
Should Naby Keita start against Watford at the weekend?

His weight and placing of a pass is lovely to watch. Rarely rushes it and always plays into space when attacking. Such a clever player

One fan got a bit carried away and suggested that Keita could make Kevin De Bruyne look like Moussa Sissoko.
His weighted forward pass is like cutting through the cheese..awesome..if he can play regularly, he can make KBD look like sissoko..

The Guinean put in a stunning performance to see his team reach the last 16 of the Champions League, receiving a rating of 8.42 (as per WhoScored) and being gifted the man of the match award. Keita scored Liverpool’s first goal of the game before Mohamed Salah doubled their lead just a minute later.
The overall performance from the midfielder, however, caught the eyes of many Liverpool fans who were eager to show their appreciation on Twitter.
Never seen so many forward passes in our team from midfielders he needs to start with fab

Makes it look easy like most the greats do, hope he stays fit.

What do we think?
Keita is now on a successful run of form for Jurgen Klopp’s side after scoring in their 3-0 win over Bournemouth at the weekend. This was the exact type of run a lot of Liverpool fans wanted Keita to have, consecutive starts for the team to show what he can do. These previous two games have shown that Keita can have a great impact on Liverpool’s transitions from midfield to attack, whilst providing a goal-scoring threat himself.
