Liverpool fans have been pleading on Twitter for the club to not buy Erling Haaland in the future.

This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page asking their followers if they would like to see the striker at Anfield.

This post also included an article on their website in which Haaland gave his thoughts ahead of last night’s clash with the Reds.

The tweet then gathered many replies from Liverpool fans who claim they don’t want the Norwegian to become a Reds player.

Should Liverpool sign Erling Haaland?

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans not wanting Haaland to sign to the Merseyside club:

The 19-year-old striker has emerged as a star player in Europe in recent months. This season playing for Red Bull Salzburg, Haaland has scored a whopping 28 goals in just 21 appearances in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). This record has put the 19-year-old on the radar of some of Europe’s top clubs, including Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

But this latest connection from the club to Haaland has not gone down well with a lot of Liverpool fans.

What do we think?

Despite Haaland’s stunning goalscoring record so far this season, it seems some Liverpool fans are more concerned with his attitude. If Liverpool do make the move for Haaland, who is valued at £27 million (as per Transfermarkt), Klopp would have to have some impact on the youngster’s attitude.
