A lot of Leeds United fans love Patrick Bamford’s comments on winding opposition players and fans up.
The Whites striker, who is valued at £5.4 million (as per Transfermarkt), was speaking ahead of the clash with Hull City said that “If away fans are booing me then I must be doing something right” and that all of the grief he gets “Spurs him on” This has gone down brilliantly with a lot of Leeds fans.
Are you a fan of Bamford?
Yes, he works hard and is trusted by Bielsa
No, he does not score enough
? Patrick on the reception from opposition fans: "They've been giving me a bit of grief lately, and if you're going to give it, you've got to be able to take it. It spurs me on, and if the away fans are booing you, then you must be doing something right." pic.twitter.com/eMOQKtsOwx

Intelligent player, and his workrate is second to none. When he got a lot of stick earlier in the season few people actually noticed the runs he made. Sometimes it’s about delivery as well, same case with Wood.

What do we think?
Bamford went through a long goal drought of 11 matches, but Marcelo Bielsa stuck by him, and just recently he has started to find the back of the net again.
The 26-year-old now has seven goals this season and is clearly Bielsa’s first-choice striker, and as well as scoring goals, he has started to try and irritate opponents.
Last season he claimed he was hit in the face by Anwar El-Ghazi, and the Dutchman was sent off – the FA later found Bamford guilty of simulation, and he was banned.
This season he has developed the habit of celebrating goals in front of the opposition, and this has made many Leeds fans love Bamford.
It was good to see that he is happy to take that role of pantomime villain, and if he can add a few more goals to his game, then he may well be leading the Whites back up to the Premier League next May.
