A lot of Leeds United fans are delighted to hear that Ben White will be staying with the club until the end of the season, at least.
Graham Potter has confirmed the news, and Graham Smyth tweeted it out, and it is fair to say that a lot of Leeds fans are thrilled with the announcement.
Is White Leeds' best defender?
Yes, he is class
No, he has not played enough yet
It won't come as new news to YEP readers, but Brighton and Hove Albion boss Graham Potter has confirmed that Ben White will see out the season with Leeds United.https://t.co/zLTFZlgSRK#lufc

This news beats any signing!!
Really want Brighton to go down so we have a chance to sign him

Excellent news Graham. Seen elsewhere on here, entirely uncorroborated I must say, that Wolves lining up a bid for Harrison in January. How does that work with both White & Harrison if they were sold by their parent club, particularly if #lufc has an option to buy Jack?

Other Leeds fans want their club to announce that White will be remaining at Elland Road for his entire career.
Funny way of spelling entire career but okay
— James?? (@J_4710) December 10, 2019
And the rest of his career playing in the Prem, Champions League & national side?

Can’t you edit that for “will see out the next 10 seasons at Leeds United”

What do we think?
White has played every game for Leeds this season, and in that time, he has established himself as a classy centre-back.
White is comfortable on the ball, as his one match as a defensive midfielder proves, and also a brilliant reader of the game – as 2.5 interceptions per match demonstrates.
The 22-year-old is a crucial part of the league’s best defence and the news that he will be staying till the end of the season should be a major boost to the Whites’ promotion hopes.
Beyond this season, they would like to make him a permanent fixture at Elland Road, but there will be serious competition for White’s signature next season and Leeds will have to be in the Premier League to have any chance of signing him.
