A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Leeds’ tweet calling out the decision made by the referee during the Whites’ 2-1 defeat to Fulham.
Leeds, clearly annoyed about the situation, put a tweet out with the definition of contact sport to prove that Ben White’s foul on Bobby Reid was not a penalty.
Were Leeds right to slate the decision on their account?
Yes, it was an awful decision and needed to be called out
No, it was poor but moaning won't change anything
This had a mixed reaction from many Leeds fans, with some Whites supporters in agreement with the club.

Disagree. It’s about time we said enough is enough and started highlighting this. We’re on the receiving end of these types of decisions far more often than anyone else.

disagree, yes we’d have a go at other clubs if they did it but it is a terrible decision that lost us the game and can’t just be let go

Every single time though? Surely the frustration just grows before it’s too much to stay silent anymore.

It’s time we and other clubs began calling out these pathetic wage stealing, fun smothering, anti football refs for just being that. They’re protected far too much.

Other Leeds fans, though, felt that the tweet was needless.
What’s point of a tweet like this? It’s embarrassing. Everyone’s already well aware it wasn’t a pen – even opposition fans (although they probably wouldn’t admit so as per typical childish fan behaviour).

Exactly… Move on now please

Agreed. Awful decision but not going to change anything by going on about it. Focus all on our energies on the Preston game instead.

Funny isn’t it. Just doesn’t seem half as bad as the one at Millwall where the ref was fooled. This is just a poor decision. Had certainly one soft one ourselves with the Ayling one. It happens, move on. #lufc

What do we think?
The penalty that Fulham were awarded was very soft, (0:30) and it gave Scott Parker’s men the perfect start, but for the club’s official Twitter account to moan about it is a bit far.
Yes, it was a poor decision, (0:30) but Leeds still have a eight-point gap to third place and have to move on as they face a tricky test against another promotion rival on Boxing Day as Preston North End visit Elland Road.
Leeds will have to respond to this defeat at Craven Cottage, and the best way to do that would be to beat Alex Neil’s side.
