A lot of Leeds United fans are laughing at the fact their joint-third top goalscorer this season is own-goals.
The Whites have benefited from four of these this season, putting them on par with Ezgjan Alioski, Jack Harrison, and Mateusz Klich.
The latest one came courtesy of Jordy de Wijs as he desperately tried to stop a White shirt meeting a Helder Costa cross but could only succeed in putting the ball into his own net. (1:50).
Are the number of own-goals Leeds get lucky?
Yes, an own goal cannot be forced
No, the pressure they apply forces mistakes
Many Leeds fans are praising the impact of own goals on their team this year.

@jack_Mcguire130 had a few off games this season but pops up with a goal now and again. Can see why Bielsa plays him

He needs to up his game!!

Other Whites supporters think that the number of own goals they score is down to the pressure they put on teams.
Luck, or a natural consequence of delivering 4000 crosses per game?

Shows how much pressure we apply

But like in tennis most are ‘forced errors’ and you must give credit to Leeds relentless Bielsa Ball attacks.

One fan even stated that the stat was worrying.
This is quite worrying isn’t it?

What do we think?
Leeds in recent weeks have found a way to win despite not playing their best in every match, and Tuesday was another example of that.
Hull held out until the 73rd minute, but eventually, the pressure told, and the Whites found a way through.
The own goal was unlucky (1:50) for the Tigers, but it shows that this Leeds side will never give up.
Marcelo Bielsa highlighted in his press conference that 10 cutbacks did not find a white shirt, and this one from Costa didn’t either, but it did end up as a goal.
Leeds’ top scorer is Patrick Bamford, with seven but including own goals they have had goal contributions from 12 players this season, and this shows the determination of the whole squad to achieve promotion.
