A lot of Leeds United fans were less than happy with Luke Ayling’s performance in the Whites’ 2-1 defeat to promotion rivals Fulham.
Indeed, the Englishman started at right-back and received a rating of 6.97/10 (as per WhoScored), which isn’t awful but many Whites fans seem to think that he didn’t look too convincing.
Was this Ayling's worst performance in a Leeds shirt?
Yes, he was dreadful
No, poor but has played worse
Here’s what they had to say:
Ayling has been awful

Bielsa was right to sub Ayling because if he hadnt he would have been sent off he was terrible today

Usually do #LUFC assessment straight after the game but was fuming at officials and ffc time wasting & cheating
Kiko excellent nearly saved pen made 1 exceptional save had no chance with goal
Ayling poor got skinned for attack that gave corner for 2nd goal
1/4

Poor today. The ref was terrible, Leeds fans sung you’re not fit to referee and Fulham fans joined in. But if he have been any good he’d have sent off both Ayling and Costa, both were poor today, as was Dallas, alioski and Harrison. That said, we should have still avoided defeat!

What do we think?
Not many of Leeds’ players were at the races on Saturday, and the former Bristol City man certainly wasn’t a favourite amongst fans, so it may have been no surprise to see him replaced when Leeds were 2-1 down.
This was the end of the Whites’ 11-match unbeaten run, and they will have to quickly move on from this poor afternoon in London as they look to welcome Preston North End to Elland Road.
The gap to third is now at eight points, and Bielsa knows that his team must get back to winning ways.
