Some Celtic fans can’t stop hailing the performance of Christopher Jullien following the club’s impressive 2-0 win over Hearts in the Premiership at Tynecastle on Wednesday (BBC).
The Hoops remained top of the table with the 2-0 win and opened up a good five-point lead at the top, with their fierce rivals yet to play their game in hand, which comes away to Hibernian on Friday later this week.
A goal each from midfielders Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham brought the win, as Celtic continued their unbeaten run in the league and the last time they lost a game was two months ago against Livingston.
Celtic fans: Was the Hearts game Jullien's best performance so far?
Of course it was!
There have been better
But many Celtic fans are raving about the performance of Christopher Jullien, who started at centre-back once again for Neil Lennon’s men.

Since joining the Hoops from French side Toulouse in the summer of 2019 for a fee of around £7m, he has become a regular in the centre-back position alongside Kristoffer Ajer. He was the club’s second-most expensive signing.
So far this season, the towering Frenchman has been in very good form. He has played 15 times in the Premiership this season, featuring 28 times in all competitions as well.
He was a key player in their League Cup final win recently as he scored a second-half goal to hand them the 19th League Cup trophy in history. Jullien also scored for the Hoops in a recent 2-1 win over Serie A giants Lazio in Glasgow.
For his former club Toulouse last season, he was a regular at the back. He played 35 times in all competitions, scoring once too.
What do we think?
Jullien has been proving that he is worth all the money that the Hoops paid for him in the summer. He has been a towering presence at the back and brings a lot of physicality and composure at the back. It is also because of him that the Hoops have the best defensive record in the Premiership, letting in just nine goals.
