Some Celtic fans are still drooling about the performance of ‘colossus of a figure’ Christopher Jullien after the club’s League Cup final win on Sunday.
It was Jullien’s goal in the second half that helped the Hoops seal the League Cup title at the weekend, but it wasn’t the only piece of action on the day.
Jullien’s goal was surrounded by offside controversy, while Rangers missed a penalty around that half. Fraser Forster denied Alfredo Morelos, while Jeremie Frimpong was sent off for the first time this season (BBC).
Celtic fans: Is Jullien the new Van Dijk?
Virgil was better
He is the new VVD
But one of Jullien’s posts on Twitter has left Hoops’ fans ecstatic and they can’t stop hailing him.
This gent is fast becoming a collossus of a figure in our rich history. We look forward to watching you grow into a Celtic great.

The French defender has been amongst the goals this season, despite having been a regular at centre-back alongside Kristoffer Ajer this season. He has scored three goals in all competitions this season, with two of them coming in the UEFA Europa League for the Bhoys.
The defender has played 25 times in all competitions this season. 13 of those appearances have come in the Premiership for Neil Lennon’s men.
Jullien arrived at Celtic from Ligue 1 side Toulouse this past summer for a fee of around £7m. He became the club’s second-most expensive signing and is only second behind Odsonne Edouard.
In his last season in France, Jullien had played regularly for Toulouse. He had played 34 times in the Ligue 1 for the club, scoring once in the league. In total though, Jullien had played 108 times in all competitions for Toulouse during his stay at the club.
What do we think?
Jullien has been key for the club this season, considering how he has come in to establish himself alongside Jullien. Not everyone can do that, considering this is his first campaign in Scotland.
It is because of Jullien’s performances at the back that Celtic have the best defence in the Premiership. They have conceded just nine goals all season – one less than Rangers.
