Some Celtic fans feel that club’s winger Scott Sinclair is finished at Parkhead following the teams’ 2-0 loss to Cluj in the Europa League group stage game on Thursday.
Neil Lennon’s men failed to go unbeaten in the group stages of the competition, as Cluj avenged their 2-0 loss in Glasgow by a win of a similar margin. And despite the defeat, the Hoops remained top of the group and have finished the round in first position for the first time in history.
The game saw Scott Sinclair make his first start in the competition, but Hoops fans are not impressed by how the Englishman played.
Celtic fans: Does Sinclair deserve more time?
He's finished!
He needs 1-2 games more
Some feel that the winger’s time at Parkhead is now up.
Think sinclair knows he’s finished at celtic.. Don’t really blame him tbh.. But just go in January.. Some of our fringe not got it.. A worry once brown does lose his legs.. Still don’t think we have a replacement like.. Mcginn maybe??

Sinclair done absolutely nothing, but Morgan getting pelters. Yes has been poor but as usual the whipping boy.

Poor performance all round from Celtic tonight. Lots of changes but still expected something more, canny see sinclair playing again for us! Johnston and Robertson only pass marks, Ntcham should never where the armband again and Morgan can head for the bin. Onto Sunday

Sinclair, who is valued at £3.6m (TransferMarkt) has become an outcast this season and that is in stark contrast to how things were under Brendan Rodgers and in the early part of Neil Lennon’s tenure towards the end of last season.
This season, Sinclair has played seven times in all competitions for the Hoops. He has found the back of the net twice too. One of those goals came in the League Cup and another came in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds. He has played only 17 minutes of football in the Premiership.
Last season, the former Manchester City man had played 55 times in all competitions. He found the back of the net 17 times, racking up a tally of six assists as well. Since joining the club from Aston Villa, Sinclair has played 167 times in all competitions and found the back of the net 62 times too.
What do we think?
This was Sinclair’s first start of the season and it will be unfair to expect him to go all guns blazing in his first start. He is human and needs time to get back to his best, especially when he has been used poorly. It is unfair to judge him from the Cluj game and it is time to stop being reactionary.
