These Birmingham City fans were thrilled with the appointment of Pep Clotet as the permanent manager.
The Birmingham City board said: “Pep has shown his coaching expertise, man-management and leadership skills, allied to exemplary professional conduct, that can help take the Club forward.”
Birmingham are currently 15th in the Championship, coming off the back of three draws in a row. Clotet’s side have also only won one game in the last six.

Is Pep Clotet the best manager in the Championship?
Yes
No
The board have also said that they “trust that our supporters will continue to get behind Pep“, which they seem to have so far, but the fans will still be demanding results no matter how much they like Clotet.
Wonderful news!! congratulations Pep! Well deserved

What Do We Think?
Birmingham City are having an average season so far; hardly flying high but are well clear of any relegation danger. However, that could be a solid environment for Clotet to build his team, especially if he receives some backing in January. This certainly appears to be a long-term move from Birmingham, which is good to see and we fully expect Pep to still be the manager come the end of the season, provided the Blues remain in the Championship.
