Aston Villa fans have been calling on Twitter for the club to sign Pedro in the upcoming January transfer window.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page asking their followers if they think the club should sign the Chelsea winger next month.
The post also contained an article from the Birmingham Mail on Pedro.
This post then led to a number of replies from Villa fans all saying they would like to see Pedro join the Birmingham club.
Would Pedro get into the Villa starting XI?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Villa fans hoping to see Pedro at Villa Park next month:
If he was 100% fit than he would be our (only) second player with enough technical skill to beat his man 1-on-1. Approved

Yes, this side needs experience

This could be a good signing. Experience at the highest level would be invaluable at the right price for a 32 year old.

The 32-year-old has recently fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge under Blues boss Frank Lampard. So far this season, Pedro, who is currently valued at £15.3 million according to TramsferMarkt, has only registered nine appearances for the West-London club across four different competitions (per TransferMarkt).
Villa are in need of some attacking reinforcements with Wesley struggling and other players failing to chip in, so bringing in a winger who has the ability to find the back of the net would certainly help.
With more minutes possibly on offer at Villa Park, Villa fans have identified Pedro as a potential January signing.

We have to go in for him! What an opportunity to get someone who’s well experienced and a decent player! The kids won the lot

Yes – grab Giroud too while we’re at it

What do we think?
If Villa do manage to sign the Spaniard, they would be getting a renowned winner with bags of experience of top-level football. If Dean Smith can guarantee Pedro would get decent playing time at Villa Park, they may just be able to cut a deal with the winger.
