Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to plead with the club to allow Kortney Hause to play in their upcoming games.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @AVFCchats shared a post on their page saying Hause “deserves a chance” to play in the absence of the injured Tyrone Mings.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who agreed with the page’s assessment of Hause.
Should Kortney Hause start in defence for Villa?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Villa fans wanting Hause to get a chance to play:
Hause deserves his chance left sided centre back along side engels nice balance

Yes play Hause at LB. Was very good there last season. Targett is a bit dilly dally. Hause would offer more in defence.

Be tempted to play Hause upfront

The 24-year-old, who is valued at £2.7 million (Transfermarkt), has made just three appearances for Dean Smith’s side so far this season with the young defender yet to make a Premier League appearance (per Transfermarkt).
With first-choice centre-half Tyrone Mings suffering an injury in Villa’s 4-1 defeat to Leicester at the weekend, some fans think now would be a good time for Smith to unleash Hause in the Premier League.
I’d take anyone instead of Mings atm he’s very poor no idea how some fans claim he should be starting for England

Got to be him, if it isn’t he isn’t sticking to his word.

Play Hause at left back

What do we think?
With Mings’ latest injury and the poor run of defensive from Villa on the whole, maybe letting Hause a chance to find some form would be beneficial for him and the rest of the team. Also, given the hectic upcoming run of festive fixtures coming up, squad rotation should be in Dean Smith’s mind anyway.
