Some Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to share their frustrations with Wesley after his poor performance against Chelsea.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @VillaViews_ shared a post on their page slating Wesley for his display in Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
This post then gathered many replies from Villa fans who were keen to share their own frustrations with the Brazilian.

The 23-year-old signed for Villa in the recent summer transfer window from Belgian side Club Brugge for a fee of £22.5 million (per Transfermarkt).
But his first season in the Premier League has not been overly impressive, especially with his performances on the pitch. This latest display against Chelsea further proved Wesley’s misgivings to the watching Villa fans.
He’s got no worries at the moment. No one pushing from the bench with Davis injured. Smith dont like Kodja so he knows if he plays bad he’s still gonna start next game.

What do we think?
For a team that have just been promoted back to the Premier League, to avoid relegation, they will need Wesley to vastly improve and start putting in consistent top-quality performances.
His goal scoring record has been disappointing too, in 15 appearances for the club, the Brazilian has only scored four goals in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). If Wesley does not step up his game for Dean Smith’s side, the club may be forced to bring in a new striker in the upcoming January transfer window.
