Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight over Tammy Abraham’s recent comments on the club.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page of a video clip of Abraham speaking on the official Chelsea Twitter saying he will always have Villa in his heart.
This post then gathered many replies from Villa fans who were over the moon with their former striker’s words.
Should Tammy Abraham have stayed at Villa?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Villa fans reacting to Abraham’s comments:
He’s a class act. Will always be a Play-Off Winning Prince in my mind.

The Englishman spent last season on a year-long loan deal at Villa Park before returning to his parent club under new manager Frank Lampard. In his time as a Villa player, Abraham made 41 appearances for Dean Smith’ side, scoring 26 goals and picking up 3 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).
Now that he has returned to Chelsea, despite scoring against his former side in the West-London club’s 2-1 win in midweek, the 22-year-old refused to celebrate.
This and his words on the club after the game certainly went down well with a lot of Villa fans.
Top top player and person. Such a nice guy.

Gutted he didn’t stay, but glad to see him thriving and scoring goals

Love this guy, think he’s been amazing so far this season. I so wish he was still at the Villa.

What do we think?
It’s great to see Abraham still showing love and appreciating the club he played for last year. This goes to show how the striker is still loyal to the Villa and has a lot of respect for them, but a return to Villa Park looks to be completely out of the picture as he’s been a regular at Stamford Bridge.
