Aston Villa fans have been calling on Twitter for Kortney Hause to start in Saturday’s match against Sheffield United.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page asking their followers who they think should replace the injured Tyrone Mings for their weekend clash with the Blades.
This post then gathered many replies from Villa fans who were eager to suggest Hause should start in the place of Mings at Bramall Lane.
Should Kortney Hause start against Sheffield United at the weekend?
Yes
No

First choice centre-back Mings picked up a hamstring injury in Villa’s 4-1 defeat to Leicester City at the weekend. It has since been reported that Mings will not return to action until the New Year.
From now until Mings’ return, Villa fans have identified Hause to fill in for the Englishman in the Villa defence.
Hause without a doubt

What do we think?
Despite not playing many games for Villa so far this season, it’s nice to see so many Villa fans have the belief in Hause to provide a decent back up for the injure Mings. Hause has only made three appearances for Dean Smith’s side, with all three coming in the Carabao Cup (per Transfermarkt).
If Smith does take a chance on Hause, who is valued at £2.25 million (as per Transfermarkt), at the weekend and give him his first Premier League appearance for the club, it would be a good opportunity for the 24-year-old to leave an impact on the team while Mings is out.
