Aston Villa fans have been slating Neil Taylor on Twitter for his performance against Liverpool in midweek.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @VillaViews_ shared a post on their page with a negative opinion on the defender’s display at Villa Park in their 5-0 win in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share their own similar sentiments on the Welshman.

The 30-year-old, who is currently valued at £3.15 million according to TransferMarkt, played the entire 90 minutes of the midweek match against Liverpool, receiving a rating of 6/10 from the Independent.
Despite it only being his 10th Villa appearance in all competitions so far this season, some Villans have made their feelings known, as they don’t want to see the left-back play again for the Birmingham club.

What do we think?
Given that their team won 5-0 and Taylor kept a clean sheet for the match, these Villa fans are being a bit harsh on the defender. But if they see Taylor’s performance as not good enough, especially against an inexperienced Liverpool team, they have every right to want to see him leave the club.
