Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to respond to Jack Grealish’s latest post after Villa’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton.
This comes after Grealish shared a post on his official Twitter page claiming Villa were “not good enough as a team” but that they need to “stay positive” as the season progresses.
This post then gathered hundreds of replies from Villa fans who were eager to rally round their captain despite yet another poor performance and result.
Will Aston Villa be relegated this season?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to Grealish’s tweet:
Fair play Jack. You played that game on your own! You deserve better! Keep the faith! UTV

The Englishman scored Villa’s consolation goal in the 3-1 defeat to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side. After the match, Grealish took to Twitter to point out his dissatisfaction with his team’s performance but wants the Villa fans to keep their heads up.
Seeing you and others flat out on the pitch at the end of the games, could see it in the faces it hurt you as much as the fans, agree we have to stay positive, together we are stronger,

Jack, please please please walk into the managers office and demand that you’re put back in the middle. you will influence the game a lot more then. 40,000 fans can see that would make a huge difference but the staff on the touchline cant see it.

What do we think?
It’s good to see Grealish rallying the Villa fans up despite another loss. But results and performances like the one against Southampton at the weekend can’t keep occurring if Villa are to stay in the Premier League.
Of course, the only real positive was the fact that the Englishman found the back of the net.
