Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have gushed over Rui Patricio following a post on the Portuguese stopper from Tim Spiers.
Following Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Norwich City, the Athletic journalist for the Old Gold made an observation at the full-time whistle, stating that a number of players went over to praise the goalkeeper due to his role in the win (per Tim Spiers).
With Patricio’s stellar performance being highlighted by Spiers, many supporters began to gush over the man who they branded as ‘underrated’.
Noticeable that a few players went straight to Patricio at the final whistle. Without his saves Wolves would have lost, simples.

Is Rui Patricio the best goalkeeper to ever play for Wolves? No, not quite yetYes, he's fantastic |
So far this term, Patricio has featured in 28 league and cup games, in which he has kept eight clean sheets and conceded 31 goals whilst between the sticks for the Old Gold (per Transfermarkt).
For his performance against the Canaries, the 31-year-old was awarded a 9/10 performance rating (as per Birmingham Mail), which offers an explanation as to why supporters were left infatuated.

Patricio has been key the last few games, I would dare say he’s Wolves’ MVP so far this season, just my humble point of view. Go Wolves Go!!!!!!

What do we think?
Patricio has played an absolutely vital role for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side so far this term, coming up big when needed and as Tim Spiers said, was absolutely pivotal in the win at Carrow Road.
