Would you rather that Wolves got an easier or more interesting first knockout tie?EasierInterestingHappy either way |
The last time that the Old Gold were drawn against an opponent in a knockout round of the Europa League was in 1980, in the then-named UEFA Cup, when they lost 3-2 on aggregate over two legs against PSV Eindhoven in round one (via 11vs11).
Despite having another Dutch club to choose from like their last opponent, in Ajax, Wolves supporters were clear on their opposition of choice.
Celtic 30 min on train for me, Parkhead on a European night is fantastic. I’d love it for Wolves to stuff em so I can rib my Celtic mates/family.
Or Ajax down to Newcastle and ferry to Amsterdam only down side mrs would want to go

What do we think?
Looking at the list of potential opponents, Celtic offer at the tougher end of the spectrum, however, as one supporter mentioned, whoever they are drawn against they will still be in dreamland.
