Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have fumed over news relayed by Tim Spiers which explains that Liverpool have launched an investigation surrounding Jonny Otto.
According to the Athletic reporter on the Old Gold, the Merseyside club are investigating whether the Spaniard snatched the ball from one of their ball boys during the second half (per Tim Spiers), which had fans furious.
Although, it’s been stated since that the actual complaint wasn’t made by the club or the ball boy, with it coming from elsewhere.
A weird day gets weirder.
Liverpool are investigating an alleged incident where Jonny may have snatched the ball from one of their ball boys in the second half.

Are Wolves fans right to be frustrated over the investigation surrounding Jonny Otto?Yes, it's totally ridiculousNo, right to investigate |
The game was already drenched in frustration for supporters of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, due to a number of contentious VAR decisions which threw favour firmly in Liverpool’s direction (per The Guardian).
With Wolves fans already angry over the game, they continued to fume that the Reds were attempting to add further insult to injury.
The whole of the city of Liverpool seemed to be wasting time after they went ahead! Neves went 35 yards to retrieve a ball, when the ball boy by the corner of the Kop didn’t even get up in the first half!

In the heat of the moment when we’ve been rightly or wrongly had 2 major decisions go against us and we’re on the front foot looking the better team, the ball boy tries to slow our momentum down. Johnny Only grabbed the ball. He hasn’t assaulted anyone or said anything. Good guy

Oh pleaseeeeeeeee!! If that’s the reason they need to get a life! Come on!

Perhaps look at Mane’s diving throughout the game instead? Not a booking to be seen. But this is far more important

What do we think?
If Jonny has been heavy-handed with a ball boy then fair enough, he should be given a fair punishment for it. However, that is not to say that Wolves fans’ fume is not to be understood after a seemingly unjust game.
