Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers are in disbelief over links between the club and a move for Real Madrid’s rising star Vinicius Junior.
On Thursday, it was claimed by El Desmarque that the Old Gold were interested in signing the Real Madrid attacker, although a summer move was more likely than in January (via Talking Wolves).
Despite the news being positive, some fans of the Old Gold just felt that it was too good to be true and that the Santiago Bernabeu club would not want to loosen their grip on the Brazilian.
Wolves are one of a number of Premier League teams reportedly interested in Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham are also interested in the Brazilian but any move is likely to be in the summer. [source: El Desmarque]#WWFC pic.twitter.com/pWxXzB87Nd

Even if we were interested, Real wouldn’t listen because of Vallejo

Also being signed by Wolves in the Summer:
Both Ronaldo’s, Maradona, Puskas, Pele and Bobby Moore to replace Bennett……..

Would Vinicius Junior be a realistic transfer target next summer? No, there's no chanceYes, could be possible |
Another stumbling block to any potential move may also be the other clubs interested in the attacker, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur all interested in Vinicius (as per El Desmarque).
So, while there was a wide acceptance that the 19-year-old Galactico would make a great signing for Nuno Espirito Santo, they did not believe it to be possible.
Well that ain’t gonna happen

We’re not at the level to compete with those lot yet haha. Would kill our wage structure and unsettle the current squad.
Fosun seem very sensible so we should trust them to invest in the right staff.

What do we think?
As fantastic a signing Vinicius would be for the Old Gold, many supporters are right in their thinking that it would probably be a long shot for the Molineux club at their current stature, unfortunately.
