West Ham fans reacted to this supposed transfer rumour about Brazilian forward Everton Soares, following a tweet from Nicolo Schira, which was picked up by Twitter account West Ham News a couple of days later.
Soares is just 23 years old and scored 11 goals in 19 appearances at Brazilian Serie A level during the 2019 season. However, one major downside is the massive price tag on the young man’s head, with Transfermarkt valuing the left-winger at £31.5m. The 23-year-old has also managed to bag himself five assists to go alongside his prolific goalscoring.
West Ham are eager to sign exciting Gremio forward Everton Soares and will meet the player’s agent this week to begin talks.

Would Everton Soares have the worst barnet at West Ham?
Yes
No
Soares also scored four goals during the Libertadores 2019, showing that he’s capable of scoring against any South American competition. That, perhaps, led to one fan suggesting that the Gremio attacker could turn out to be another Neymar scenario – the Hammers were believed to have made an offer for the Brazilian superstar almost a decade ago (Daily Mail).
Much prefer we go after Kessie & a new Cb and Rb

What Do We Think?
Everton Soares being that expensive would be a major issue, as West Ham would have to be certain that the 23-year-old would make an immediate impact, which would be hard to guarantee considering the level of football Soares is currently playing. We would be very surprised if this deal happened unless Manuel Pellegrini was given lots of funds in the January transfer market – something that does not look like happening if recent reports are to have any validity.
