David Martin’s standout performance against Chelsea has made these West Ham United fans come out and praise the veteran after the match.
Martin’s performance was so impressive that WhoScored rated the 33-year-old 8.03/10, which made him the highest-rated player in the whole West Ham squad. The shot-stopper made six saves in a tough match that the Hammers won 1-0.
So happy to make my premier league debut. The lads in front of me were terrific and the @WestHam fans were so loud, you really drove us on to get an important 3 points. #COYI pic.twitter.com/g2rtP998bW

Should David Martin start next week?
Yes
No
It’ll be interesting to see if the 33-year-old can keep his place, however, we are certain that right now these fans wouldn’t want anyone else in between the sticks.
ONE DAVID MARTIN!

What Do We Think?
We are obviously very happy for the fans and David Martin, however, this was one good performance, the 33-year-old now has to do this on a weekly basis, if he has any chance of keeping Lukasz Fabianski on of the team. This is a match that Martin will never forget, but he now has to switch his attention to a very tough Wolves game, otherwise, his glory will be short-lived.
