Spurs fans have been full of praise for Harry Kane in recent weeks after the 26-year-old’s goal-scoring exploits under new boss Jose Mourinho.

The England striker added two more goals to his tally in the 5-0 demolition of Burnley on Saturday; meaning he now has five goals from Mourinho’s first five games in charge of the North London club. A product of the youth academy at Spurs, Kane has well and truly established himself as one of the world’s best forwards; having scored an extremely impressive 179 goals in his 273 appearances for the club.

Following a perfect display against Sean Dyche’s side at the weekend, Kane looks as if he will improve even further under the management of Mourinho and fans are very excited about the prospect. The 26-year-old has spoken in the past about his desire to win trophies and if his current form continues, then perhaps Mourinho will be able to guide Spurs to their first silverware since the League Cup win in 2008.

Reaction from Spurs fans to Kane’s performance against Burnley and recent form under Mourinho can be seen in the tweets below.

These Spurs fans are clearly enjoying Kane’s recent form and will be hoping to see similar performances to his one against Burnley throughout the Premier League season.

What do we think?

Kane was brilliant under Mauricio Pochettino but his start under Jose Mourinho has been nothing short of sensational and the 26-year-old striker has now scored 28 goals for club and country so far this season.

Spurs seriously need to win a major trophy, otherwise, their prized £135 million rated striker may well be keen to leave in the summer.
