After Jose Mourinho confirmed that he wants to strengthen his new side in January, many fans have been pleading him to bring in Ajax star Hakim Ziyech in the upcoming window.
The Moroccan midfielder has been attracting the attention of several European sides after his performances for the Dutch side over the past two seasons and now some Spurs fans are fully convinced that the 26-year-old would be the perfect signing for the North London side.
According to the Telegraph (via Ricky Sacks), Mourinho is focusing on a back-up striker and a stronger defensive line in January but fans feel as if Ziyech would be an ideal signing.
The Ajax man has been in sensational form so far this season; averaging an 8.29 rating for Erik ten Hag’s side and was instrumental in their brilliant run in the Champions League last season.

Spurs fans are clearly keen on Ziyech and will be hoping to see Mourinho make a move for the creative midfielder in January.
What do we think?
Ziyech’s form in both the Eredivisie and the Champions League over the last two seasons has proved that he is more than capable of playing in the Premier League and the £36 million rated man could be the perfect man to replace Eriksen in January. With 20 assists to his name in all competitions already, he could add some serious creative and attacking impetus to Mourinho’s side.
