Spurs fans were delighted to hear that after recent research, Heung-Min Son is now considered to be the most valuable player at the club.
According to rankings from the CIES Football Observatory (via Hotspur Related), Son is now the most valuable player at Spurs following his recent performances. The South Korean originally signed for Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 in a deal worth around £22 million, but has seen his value soar after four exceptional years at the North London club.
In his time at Spurs the 27-year-old has gone on to make 210 appearances; scoring 77 goals in the process, so it is no surprise his market value has drastically increased. Son’s recent form under new manager Jose Mourinho has been sensational at times, with the winger putting in an exceptional display in the recent triumph over Burnley; in which he scored a wonder goal.

He’s a legend! Do we have a song for Son (and Moura)? …never heard one? Who ever is in charge of this, sort this out ASAP!

These Spurs fans were clearly delighted to hear that Son is getting some more recognition for his recent performances.
What do we think?
Son has been a fantastic player for Spurs in recent years but it is a surprise to see him rated as the most valuable, especially when you consider some of the extremely talented, slightly younger players Spurs have on their books, such as Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
