Spurs fans were treated to an interview with assistant manager Joao Sacramento ahead of their trip to Bayern Munich on Wednesday and many fans are touting the 30-year-old as a future manager of the club.
The interview was posted on the club’s twitter and shows the Portuguese assistant speaking highly of the club, saying: “when you come to Spurs, you don’t need too much time to understand how big this club is.” Sacramento joined Spurs from Lille following the appointment of Jose Mourinho in November and already looks to be impressing fans of the North London club.
The young coach had already worked with the likes of Claudio Ranieri and Marcelo Bielsa in his career before making the move to Spurs to work with Mourinho and is touted for a big future in football management. Despite having no playing background and being just 30, Sacramento looks to have already commanded great respect amongst Spurs players because of his knowledge of the game.
