Many of these Spurs fans were impressed with Troy Parrott’s inclusion and performance against Burnley.
Parrott is just 17-years-old and has currently played four games in the UEFA Youth League, scoring six goals and has managed to get just one assist. Before this appearance against Burnley, the only other outing for the Irishman was in the league cup.
Some fans were clearly delighted to see the youngster make his Premier League debut, with many claiming it would be the start of something rather special.

Is Troy Parrott the future of Tottenham Hotspur?
Yes
No
The 17-year-old has a Transfermarkt value of £1.35m, however, this valuation is likely to rise in the coming years as he starts to figure more often in Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans moving forward.

What Do We Think?
It’s great to see that Jose Mourinho is using the young players that Tottenham Hotspur has on offer, someone who will also be pleased is Troy Parrott, who got his first Premier League appearance for Spurs in the 5-0 against Burnley. Hopefully, the 17-year-old can kick on and get more chances under the new management at north London.
