Sheffield United got back to winning ways on the weekend after playing Norwich City in the Premier League. Chris Wilder’s side won 2-1 despite going down a goal in the 27th minute (BBC).

The comeback could have been undone in the 82nd minute if not for an incredible Dean Henderson save. The 22-year-old denied Todd Cantwell from close range in expert fashion. Sheffield fans marvelled at the impressive stop, with one supporter even suggesting that Henderson should win the Yashin Award. Another supporter encourages the club to make his loan deal from Manchester United a permanent transfer at the end of the season.

Do you think Dean Henderson is good enough to be England's first-choice keeper?

Yes

Yes

No

Other supporters truly believe that Henderson is good enough to be England’s number one goalkeeper. If he keeps making saves like the one he did against Norwich, Gareth Southgate would be hard-pressed to overlook him.

What do we think?

While Henderson, who is valued at £6.3 million (as per Transfermarkt), will obviously be eyeing a spot in Southgate’s team, his primary focus will be on helping Sheffield United. Should the goalkeeper stay with the Blades next season it would be a massive boost to the team who looks set to avoid relegation.
