After watching their side lose 2-0 to Newcastle, Sheffield United fans were clearly unhappy. A win would have kept them just outside of a spot in the top five, but instead, the loss brings them down to ninth (Sky Sports). The race for fifth place is still incredibly close, but these are the kind of games Sheffield United must win if they have European aspirations for next season.
After the match, however, Sheffield United’s Twitter posted the results from their Man of the Match poll. The winner was John Lundstram. Fans couldn’t believe that anyone on their team could claim such a reward after losing. Other fans question what the player did to deserve the accolade in the first place.

Despite having such a great start to the season, Sheffield are now winless in their last four matches (WhoScored.com). They will want to get back to winning ways when they face Norwich City next week.
