A lot of Newcastle United fans have reacted to Steve Bruce’s new potential plan for Joelinton.
The Newcastle boss revealed in his press conference that he is considering moving the Brazilian out wide due to an injury to Allan Saint-Maximin and a potential injury to Miguel Almiron.
Is this a good move for Joelinton?
Yes, could get the best out of him
No, he should be dropped
These Newcastle fans would be happy with the move.
Interesting, this.

Good move. On the wing or on the bench.

Pondering a change? Don’t you mean injuries are going to force him to change his position to 1 he has actually played before. Don’t try and make out its some sort of Bruce masterplan

A new position like the one he’s actually used to playing? ???

Forced issue to replace ASM

Anything’s worth trying…all he does now is just jog around, even when the ball is near him. Doesn’t seem to have any initiative.

I don’t believe Bruce will be allowed to make to many changes where joelinton is concerned, he was signed like as long our players with a view to making a profit

What do we think?
Last season for Hoffenheim, Joelinton played out wide on seven occasions, and in that time, he scored two goals and provided three assists.
This injury to Saint-Maximin could be a blessing disguise for Joelinton, who has struggled as the lone striker in many games this season.
Playing him out wide should allow the Toon to exploit his skill set and hopefully allow the £40m man to flourish.
This is also good news for Andy Carroll, who will relish the challenge of facing Ben Mee and James Tarkowski.
The match between Newcastle and Burnley will probably be a physical contest, and Sean Dyche will want a reaction from his side after they were hammered 5-0 at Spurs last week.
The Magpies have some injury problems, and they will have to be at their best to take anything away from Turf Moor.
